Eduardo Mendes is an Associate Attorney with The Fogle Law Firm, based in the firm’s Charlotte office. Eduardo represents clients in a wide range of immigration matters encompassing removal defense, asylum, family-based adjustment of status, U-visas, and other forms of humanitarian relief. He provides strategic and detail-oriented representation to individuals and families navigating complex proceedings before USCIS and the Immigration Courts.
Before joining The Fogle Law Firm in June 2025, Eduardo worked with the Humanitarian Immigration Law Clinic at Elon University School of Law, where he represented clients under faculty supervision. His background in humanitarian advocacy and his strong understanding of both procedural and substantive immigration law allow him to craft tailored solutions for clients facing challenging circumstances.
Eduardo earned his Juris Doctor from Elon University School of Law in December 2024 and his Master of Business Administration from Elon University’s Martha and Spencer Love School of Business in May 2025. He graduated from Texas A&M University in May 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Certificate in Applied Ethical Leadership. While at Texas A&M, he served in the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) for four years, where he cultivated the discipline and leadership principles that continue to guide his legal practice.
Eduardo is admitted to the North Carolina Bar and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the Immigration and Nationality Section of the Mecklenburg County Bar. Born and raised in Mexico, Eduardo is fluent in Spanish and takes pride in serving clients from diverse cultural backgrounds with dedication and respect.
