José R.G. Alvarado González is an experienced immigration attorney with 20 years of litigation practice, including extensive work before the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR). His career reflects a strong combination of legal advocacy, strategic case development, and client-centered representation.

Throughout his professional career, José has developed broad expertise in removal defense, asylum, family-based immigration, waivers, humanitarian protections, and complex case strategy development for detained and non-detained cases. He has successfully represented clients before Immigration Courts nationwide and prepares comprehensive legal briefs, motions, appeals, and responses to Requests for Evidence. His practice includes direct examinations, cross-examinations, and oral arguments at both Master Calendar and Individual hearings. He also works extensively with clients preparing for USCIS interviews, ensuring they fully understand the legal standards and their role in the adjudication process.

José earned his Juris Doctor from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico Law School and his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Catholic University of America. He brings a strong background in courtroom advocacy, case strategy, and client-centered representation, drawing from years of experience in immigration law firms in Miami as well as a longstanding career in civil, administrative, and commercial litigation.

Known for his clear communication and passion, José guides clients through complex immigration processes with clarity, compassion, and strategic insight. Outside the courtroom, he actively serves his community through leadership roles and volunteer initiatives supporting families, youth, and vulnerable populations.
